Donna Goodman has worked to serve Mother Earth, her children, and waters for more than 36 years in more than 67 countries.

In 1999, Donna was invited to the United Nations to teach Peace through Science using rainbow glasses and magnets to explore the invisible forces that guide our lives, which led to the founding of Earth Child Institute (ECI), a US-based 501(c)3, dedicated to Empowering Today toward A Sustainable Future for All. ECI is affiliated with the UN Economic and Social Council; and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change on behalf of children and youth.

From 2003-2013, Donna worked for UNICEF as Program Advisor, Water, Environment and Sanitation, and later Climate Change Education. Post UN, Donna was Global Program Director for Swarovski Waterschool overseeing a network of school programs on the great rivers of the world, including the Danube (Austria), Amazon (Brazil), Yangtze (China). Mekong River (Thailand), Ganges (India), Mississippi (USA), Nile (Uganda), and Netflix documentary.

Today, Donna is focusing on her work as author of middle grade fiction series ECOMASTERS: A Planet in Peril (Book One: The Pathfinder; and Book Two: Ice and Fire); and Mother Earth and Me podcast. She previously authored A Song of the Rainbow: Personal Journey Into the Seven Levels of ‘I’ and several UN and UNICEF interactive learning games and publications, including Every Body Counts, Every Drop Matters: UN Classroom Resource Guide on Water, Water Alert!, and UNICEF Educational Resource Pack on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction for Child Friendly Schools.
